EDGC RETURNS TO FINLAND AFTER AN 11-YEAR BREAK

For a long time the Finnish disc golfers have felt that Finland should host the prestigious EDGF European Disc Golf Championships again, the last time the event was hosted by Finland was in 2005, when the event was held at Tampere and Nokia. Finland leads the way in growth of disc golf, which is apparent in booming numbers of disc golfers and disc golf courses. The long-spanning work has also born fruit in international events – the Finnish team brought home unforeseen eight medals from EDGC 2014, four of those were golden!09
